Louis Vuitton Releases Foldable Furniture at the 2012 Miami Design Fair

Good morning all, and on behalf of all of us here at Madison Seating; happy Friday!

You may have heard by now that the fashion gurus at Louis Vuitton have introduced an exclusive collection of 16 travel-inspired furniture and accessories created by 11 designers.

The NYTimes reports that ‘Objets Nomades’ was launched at the luxury brand’s temporary store at Design Miami this week. There are pieces by many famous designers including Maarten Baas, Patricia Urquiola, Christian Liaigre, Edward Barber, Jay Osgerby, and Nendo’s Oki Sato.

Pictured below, the exclusive collection includes a folding travel desk with a leather top, a gold-plated hammock, a stool that unfolds like a flower, a solar-powered bell lamp, a petal-shaped neck cushion, and a beach chair that folds into an attaché-style case.

Wishing a wonderful weekend to you all!
